can the insole be removed? My legs are different lengths so I want to place a small lift under one sole.

That being said, potentially a cobbler could be able to loosen it so you can add the lift? I hope this helps! I usually wear a US size 12, EU 47 or so. It looks like the XL only goes up to 11.5. Is there any hope of your slippers fitting me?
